§ 12324 Treasurer'S Warrant Payment Authority

• •The Treasurer has to pay money orders (warrants) made by the Controller.
• •If a money order is canceled the right way, the Treasurer doesn’t have to pay it.

The Controller writes a check to pay for new school books.

The Treasurer must pay that check unless it was canceled for a good reason, like the order was wrong.
