§ 18506 Guaranty Corporation Membership Advertising

• •You can't say or show that a company is part of Guaranty Corporation if it's not.
• •You can't say or show that a company's savings accounts are guaranteed if they're not.
• •This applies to ads, signs, TV, radio, or anything else that people might see or hear.

A bank puts up a sign saying 'Your savings are 100% guaranteed by Guaranty Corporation'.

If the bank isn't really part of Guaranty Corporation, this is breaking the law. They can't say their savings accounts are guaranteed if they're not.
