§ 14104 Annual Commission Report

• •The commission must keep accurate, up‑to‑date accounts of everything it does.
• •It has to send a full report to the Governor and Legislature by Dec. 31 each year.
• •The report must list every transaction and can include suggestions for new or changed laws.

The state water commission spends money on building new wells during the year. At the end of the year, it writes down every expense, adds up the totals, and sends a report to the Governor and the state lawmakers by Dec. 31, also recommending a new rule to speed up future well projects.

The commission follows the law by tracking all its actions, reporting them on time, and giving advice on possible law changes.
