§ 7883 Failure To Appear Contempt

You get a court paper saying you must go to court because your kid skipped too much school. The paper is handed to you by an officer.

If you ignore the paper and don’t go to court (or don’t bring your kid if it says so), the judge can punish you for not following the rules.
