§ 77572 Commission Rulemaking Authority

Key Takeaways

  • •A group (called 'the commission') can make rules to help them do their job.
  • •They can change, cancel, or update these rules whenever they need to.
  • •If someone doesn’t like a rule, there’s a way to complain or ask them to change it.

Example

Imagine your school has a rule that says no running in the halls. The principal (like the commission) made this rule to keep kids safe.

If the principal later thinks the rule isn’t working, they can change it—maybe to 'no running near the stairs.' If a student thinks the rule is unfair, they can ask the principal to look at it again.
