§ 76706 Council Member Removal Authority

Key Takeaways

  • •The boss can kick someone off the council if they have a good reason.
  • •If someone is kicked off, their spot becomes empty.
  • •The empty spot gets filled the same way as if someone left early.

Example

Imagine you're on a school council, but you keep missing meetings without a good reason.

The principal (the boss) can remove you from the council. Then, your empty spot will be filled by someone else, just like if you had quit.
