§ 52513 Seed Disposal Court Order

Key Takeaways

  • •If you don't follow the court's order about your seeds or containers, the court can make someone else get rid of them or sell them.
  • •If they sell your stuff, they will take out the cost of getting rid of it from the money they make.
  • •Any money left after paying for disposal will be given to the court for you.

Example

You have some old seeds in containers that the court says you need to throw away safely, but you don't do it.

The court can then tell someone else to throw away or sell your seeds and containers. If they sell them, they will take out the cost of throwing away the bad seeds and give any leftover money to the court for you.

If the court orders the sale of any of the seed and containers which can be salvaged, the costs of disposal shall be deducted from the proceeds of sale and the balance paid into court for the owner.
