§ 40501 Fruit Inspection Exemptions

This chapter does not apply to any investigation which is made or any certificate which is issued by any of the following: (a) Any person, firm, or corporation in respect to canned or dried fruit which is shipped, packed, or stored by it. (b) Any bona fide chamber of commerce, board of trade, or other bona fide nonprofit association of producers or merchants in respect to canned or dried fruit which is sold, shipped, packed, or stored by any of its members or other persons for whom it may make any such inspection or issue any such certificate. (Enacted by Stats. 1967, Ch. 15.)
