Key Takeaways

  • •This law is about checking if a new product can get a temporary rule.
  • •A meeting is held to see if the product is safe and fits the rules.
  • •The boss listens to everyone's opinions before deciding.
  • •If approved, the boss sets rules for the product's name, quality, and label.

Example

A company wants to sell a new type of juice that's not covered by current rules.

A meeting is held to check if the juice is safe and if the company's proposed rules for it make sense. The boss listens to what everyone says, including other companies and health experts. If the boss agrees, they set temporary rules for the juice's name, quality, and label.
