§ 33514 Animal Facility Sanitation Rules

Key Takeaways

  • •Keep your property clean and not dirty or unhealthy.
  • •Don't pile up manure (animal poop) in yards or enclosures unless it's a pasture.
  • •If manure is left to rot and smell, it's against the law.

Example

You have a small farm with chickens and horses. You start piling up the manure in a corner of your yard and leave it there to rot.

This is not allowed because the manure is not in a pasture and it's left to decay, making the area filthy and unhealthy.
