§ 3215 Fair Operational Standards Compliance

Key Takeaways

  • •County fairs and citrus fairs must follow the rules set by the department.
  • •Every 5 years, these fairs must send a written plan to the department showing how they will run, manage money, and operate.
  • •The department must approve this plan before the fair can continue.

Example

A local county fair wants to keep running every year.

The fair must follow all the rules from the department. Every 5 years, they have to write down how they will handle money, who is in charge, and how they will run the fair. They send this to the department, and if it’s not approved, they can’t have the fair.
