§ 2272 County Agricultural Pest Reports

Key Takeaways

  • •The county agriculture boss must send a yearly report to the state director about farming and pest control in their area.
  • •The report can include info on organic farming, biotech, and natural ways to control pests.
  • •The boss must also give extra info to the director whenever asked.

Example

A county has a lot of farms with bugs eating crops.

The county agriculture boss must write a report every year telling the state what they’re doing to stop the bugs, like using natural bug predators or special farming tricks. If the state asks for more details, the boss has to share those too.
