§ 21062 Cattle Inspection Documentation Requirements

• •If you send cows to a feedlot, slaughterhouse, or market in this state, you need papers showing you own them or are sending them.

A farmer sends 10 cows to a big market to sell them.

The farmer must bring a paper proving he owns the cows and give it to the market checker before the cows are looked at. If he doesn’t, the cows might not be allowed in.
