§ 20757 Brand Rerecording Fees

• •If your brand was canceled or lost, you have to pay $140 to register it again.
• •If you already paid a penalty for being late (under Section 20222), you only pay $70 to reregister your brand.
• •You must pay the fee when you send in your application to reregister.

A farmer forgot to renew his cattle brand on time, and it got canceled. Now he wants to use the same brand again.

He has to pay $140 to reregister his brand unless he already paid a late penalty. If he paid the penalty within the last 30 days, he only pays $70.
