§ 12258 Pesticide License Compliance Rules

This law says anyone who works in pest control must tell the director when they move, follow all pesticide rules, be honest on license paperwork, keep accurate pesticide records, and watch their workers when they use or sell pesticides.

Key Takeaways

  • •Tell the director right away if your address changes.
  • •Follow every rule in the pesticide sections (Division 7, etc.).
  • •Never lie or hide facts when applying for or renewing a pest‑control license.
  • •Keep pesticide records truthful and accurate.
  • •Make sure you actively supervise employees who use or sell pesticides.

Example

A pest‑control company moves to a new warehouse but never tells the state director about the new address.

Because the law requires them to notify the director of any address change, the company would be breaking the law and could be fined or lose its license.
