§ 9010 Referendum Petition Heading

• •Every page of a referendum petition must have a clear title at the top.
• •The title must say 'Referendum Against an Act Passed by the Legislature'.
• •The title must be in big, bold letters (12-point boldface type).

If a group of people want to challenge a new law passed by the government, they create a petition.

They must write 'Referendum Against an Act Passed by the Legislature' at the top of every page of their petition in big, bold letters. If they don't, the petition might not be valid.
