§ 7600 Party Committee Membership Rules

• •The state central committee includes all delegates to the state convention.
• •The chairperson of each county central committee of the party is also part of the state central committee.
• •Members appointed under this part are included in the state central committee.
• •Anyone nominated to fill a vacancy in a partisan office in a special election is part of the state central committee.

Imagine there is a special election to fill a vacant position in a political party.

The person nominated to fill that vacancy automatically becomes part of the state central committee.
