§ 6843 Peace And Freedom Primary Results

Key Takeaways

  • •After an election, the Secretary of State has 32 days to collect and share the final vote counts for the Peace and Freedom Party's presidential primary and delegate selection.
  • •The final report must show how many votes each candidate or group got in total and in each county.
  • •If a group of candidates ran together, the report must list all their names.

Example

Imagine a small election where three people run for class president, and votes are counted in each classroom.

The teacher (like the Secretary of State) has to collect all the votes from each classroom (county) and share the total votes for each candidate within 32 days. If two candidates ran as a team, the report must list both their names and their total votes.
