§ 6842 Delegate Certification Order

• •After a presidential primary, groups of candidates for delegate must meet and decide the order in which they will be listed as elected.
• •The order must start with someone from either the northern or southern part of the state, and then switch back and forth between northern and southern residents.
• •The group must send their decided order to the Secretary of State within 28 days after the election.

Imagine a group of 5 candidates for delegate: 3 from the north and 2 from the south. They meet after the primary election.

They must decide an order where the first person is from either the north or south, and then alternate. For example, they could choose: North, South, North, South, North. They must send this order to the Secretary of State within 28 days.
