§ 11322 Recall Election Ballot Requirements

A recall election is held for the state treasurer. The ballot lists Jane Doe, John Smith, and Alex Lee as the candidates to take over, and then has an empty line with a target where a voter can write in another name if they want.

Because of this law, the ballot must show all nominated candidates and also give voters a place to write in a different name, so the voter can see everyone and still add their own choice.
