§ 108 Petition Page Binding Methods

This law says you can put the pages of a petition together using any reasonable method, such as stapling them.

Key Takeaways

  • •Petition pages can be bound in any reasonable way.
  • •Using staples is specifically mentioned as an allowed method.
  • •This rule overrides any other law that might try to limit how petitions are bound.

Example

A person files a petition with ten pages and uses a stapler to bind the pages together before submitting it to the court.

Because the law allows any reasonable way to bind petition pages, stapling the pages is perfectly fine and won't be rejected.
