• •Charter schools get the same amount of money as regular public schools for the same number of students.

A charter school has 100 kids, just like a regular public school nearby.

Both schools should get the same amount of money from the state to teach those 100 kids. But if the charter school is small, it won’t get extra money like some small regular schools do.
