§ 41402 Administrative Staff Ratios

• •Small schools (elementary) can have up to 9 bosses for every 100 teachers.
• •Medium schools (unified) can have up to 8 bosses for every 100 teachers.
• •Big schools (high school) can have up to 7 bosses for every 100 teachers.
• •Tiny schools with only 1 or 0 bosses don’t have to follow this rule.

A high school with 200 teachers wants to hire more office staff.

They can only have up to 14 bosses (like principals or managers) because the rule says 7 bosses per 100 teachers.
