§ 19515 Election Conduct Rules

Key Takeaways

  • •This law says that most election rules come from another part of the law (Chapter 3, starting at Section 5300).
  • •If this law doesn’t say something special, follow the rules in Chapter 3.
  • •It was updated in 1977.

Example

Imagine your school has a rulebook for elections, but one small rule says to check the big rulebook for most things.

This law works the same way—it tells you to follow the bigger set of election rules unless it says something different.
