§ 18130 School Library Service Agreements

Key Takeaways

  • •Schools and colleges can team up with the county library to get library services for their students.
  • •Either the school or the county library can start the conversation about working together.
  • •They must check every year to make sure the agreement is still working for both sides.

Example

A small town's high school doesn't have its own library, but the town has a public library.

The school can make a deal with the town library to let students use it for school books and homework. They’ll check every year to see if it’s still a good deal.
