§ 6616 Amending Declaration Provisions

• •Most rules in a declaration can be changed unless it says they can't be changed.
• •If the declaration doesn't say anything about changing the rules, you can change them anytime.

Imagine you live in a neighborhood with rules about what color you can paint your house. The rules were written a long time ago and don't say anything about changing them.

Because the rules don't say they can't be changed, the neighborhood can decide to let people paint their houses any color they want.
