§ 4625 Community Apartment Ownership Transfer

• •If you sell or transfer your apartment in a shared building, you also sell your share of the whole building.
• •If you sell everything you own, you also sell your membership in the building’s group (like the HOA).

You own an apartment in a big building with shared spaces like a pool and gym. You decide to sell your apartment.

When you sell your apartment, you also automatically sell your share of the pool, gym, and other shared parts of the building. Plus, if you were part of the building’s group (like the HOA), that membership gets sold too.
