§ 8030 Court Reporters’ Fund Deposits

• •Any money the board gets (like fees) must be reported to the State Controller.
• •The money must be put into a special fund called the Court Reporters’ Fund.
• •The money in this fund can only be used for specific things approved by the Legislature.

If someone pays a fee to the board for a court reporter service.

That fee money doesn’t stay with the board. It must be sent to the State Controller and put into the Court Reporters’ Fund. Later, the Legislature decides how to use that money for court reporter-related things.
