§ 5658 Email Address Reporting Requirements

Key Takeaways

  • •You must give the board your email when you apply for a license or renew it.
  • •If your email changes, you have 30 days to tell the board.
  • •Your email is private and won’t be shared unless a court says so.
  • •If the board emails you, it’s assumed you got it.

Example

You get a new email address after renewing your nursing license.

You have 30 days to tell the board your new email. If you don’t, you might miss important messages, and the board will assume you got them anyway.
