§ 5559 Email Address Reporting Requirements

Key Takeaways

  • •You must give the board your email when you apply for a license or renew it.
  • •If your email changes, you have 30 days to tell the board.
  • •Your email is private and won’t be shared unless a court says so.
  • •If the board emails you, it’s assumed you got it.

Example

You’re a nurse renewing your license but forgot to update your email after switching jobs.

If you don’t tell the board your new email within 30 days, you might miss important messages, and they’ll assume you got them anyway.
