§ 3051 Optometry License Abuse Training

All applicants for examination for an optometrist license in accordance with the educational and examination requirements adopted pursuant to Section 3023.1 shall show the board by satisfactory evidence that he or she has received education in child abuse detection and the detection of alcoholism and other chemical substance dependency. This section shall apply only to applicants who matriculate in a school of optometry on or after September 1, 1997. (Amended by Stats. 2013, Ch. 473, Sec. 8. (SB 821) Effective January 1, 2014.)
