§ 19866 Gambling License Disclosure Requirements

Key Takeaways

  • •You must tell the truth when applying for a gambling license or approval.
  • •Hide or lie about important info, and you could get in big trouble.
  • •The rules are there to make sure gambling is fair and safe for everyone.

Example

You want to open a casino and need a license.

If you lie on your application—like saying you have no past crimes when you do—you won’t get the license. They’ll find out, and you could be banned from ever getting one.
