§ 19842 Game Regulation Limits

Key Takeaways

  • •The government can't ban a game or how it's played unless it breaks a law.
  • •They can still punish people who break rules while playing games.
  • •They can't make quick, emergency rules to ban games.

Example

A group of friends plays a card game in a park.

The government can't stop them unless the game is illegal, like gambling with money. If they cheat or fight, they can still get in trouble.
