§ 19460 Horse Racing License Conditions

Key Takeaways

  • •All licenses for horse racing must be written down, not just spoken or promised.
  • •Everyone with a license must follow all the rules set by the board.
  • •The board can add extra rules to licenses if they think it’s good for horse racing.

Example

A person gets a license to train racehorses.

The license must be on paper, and the trainer has to follow all the rules from the board. If the board says trainers must check horses for health every day, the trainer has to do it or they could lose their license.
