§ 136 Address Change Notification

Key Takeaways

  • •If you have a work license (like for being a doctor, teacher, or plumber), you must tell the board that gave you the license if you move.
  • •You have 30 days to tell them your new address, unless they say you have less time.
  • •If you don’t tell them, you might get a fine if the board can give fines.

Example

A nurse moves to a new apartment but forgets to tell the nursing board her new address.

Since she didn’t update her address within 30 days, the board could fine her because she broke the rule.
