§ 885 Juvenile Facility Standards Inspections

Key Takeaways

  • •The state sets rules for how juvenile camps (like camps for kids in trouble) should be built, run, and who can work there.
  • •These camps must be checked every two years to make sure they follow the rules.
  • •The people in charge of the camps must send reports to the state when asked.

Example

A juvenile camp where kids stay for more than a day.

The state makes sure the camp is safe, has good programs, and is run by qualified people. They check the camp every two years and ask for reports to ensure everything is okay.
