§ 5613 County Mental Health Reporting

Key Takeaways

  • •Counties must share yearly reports about mental health services with a local board and the state health director.
  • •The state health director must share this data with the government and post it online by March 15 every year.
  • •This rule might stop working in 2025 and go away completely in 2027 if voters approve changes in March 2024.

Example

Your county runs programs to help people with mental health issues.

Every year, your county must send a report about how well these programs are doing to a local group and the state. The state then puts this info online so everyone can see it. If voters agree to change the mental health laws in 2024, this reporting rule might disappear in a few years.
