§ 4752 Program Effectiveness Reporting Plan

Key Takeaways

  • •The government must create a plan to check if programs are working well.
  • •The plan must explain how they will collect and study information about the services provided.
  • •They need to figure out how much money is spent and if it's worth it.
  • •They must tell the Legislature how much it will cost to do this.

Example

Imagine a school lunch program that gives free meals to kids.

The government would check how many kids get meals, if the meals are healthy, and if the program is worth the money spent. They would then tell the Legislature how much it costs to run this check.
