§ 4552 Council Contracting And Personnel Authority

Key Takeaways

  • •The state council can hire outside help (like people or companies) to do important jobs like planning and checking their work.
  • •All workers hired by the state council must answer only to the state council, not to anyone else.
  • •The state council's boss (executive director) is in charge of picking, hiring, and watching over all the workers.

Example

The state council needs extra help to plan a big project, like building new parks.

They can hire a company to help with the planning, but those workers must listen only to the state council, not to the company they came from. The state council's boss picks and watches over these workers.
