§ 19103 Vocational Rehabilitation Eligibility

Key Takeaways

  • •If you have a disability and need help to get or keep a job, you can get special services to help you.
  • •It’s assumed you can benefit from these services unless someone proves you really can’t.
  • •The people in charge have to decide quickly if you can get help, using the rules from federal law.

Example

A person with a disability wants to work but needs training or tools to do the job.

The law says they should get help, like job training, unless there’s strong proof they can’t work at all. The decision about helping them must be made fast.
