§ 14013 Application Validity Investigations

Key Takeaways

  • •The government checks some applications to make sure people aren't lying.
  • •They don't check every single one, just enough to catch problems.
  • •This helps keep things fair and honest.

Example

You apply for food stamps but say you make less money than you really do.

The government might pick your application to check. If they find out you lied, you could get in trouble.
