§ 9556 Drainage District Land Sales

Imagine a town owns an empty field because no one paid their taxes on it. After waiting a long time, no one buys it.

The town has to sell the field at an auction. They put an ad in the newspaper for two weeks saying when and where the auction will be. Whoever offers the most money at the auction gets the field.
