§ 9337 Proxy Voting Requirements

Key Takeaways

  • •You can't vote for someone else unless you have a special paper that says you can.
  • •This paper must be signed and checked like important property papers.
  • •The paper must be given to the election office before you can vote for someone else.

Example

Your friend is sick on election day and asks you to vote for them.

You can only do this if your friend gives you a special signed paper, like the ones used for selling a house, and you give that paper to the election office first.
