§ 8884 Board Deed Execution Authority

• •The boss and the note-taker of a group can sign important papers for the whole group.
• •They don’t need everyone in the group to sign—just these two people.
• •This is only for papers that the group is supposed to sign because of the rules in this part of the law.

A school’s parent group needs to sign a paper to buy new playground equipment.

Instead of making all the parents sign, just the group’s leader (president) and the person who writes things down (secretary) can sign for everyone.
