§ 8790 Assessment Amount Review

Key Takeaways

  • •The numbers written next to each property assessment don't change the actual assessment.
  • •These numbers can be checked and changed just like the assessment itself.
  • •The assessment is what really matters, not the numbers next to it.

Example

You get a bill for your property taxes, and there's a number written next to your property's value.

That number doesn't change how much you actually have to pay. It's just extra info that can be double-checked or fixed if needed.
