§ 6350 Dam Construction Completion Notice

Key Takeaways

  • •If you build or expand a dam, you must tell the government when it's done.
  • •You have to give them detailed plans and records of how it was built, like tests on the materials used.
  • •This includes things like where you put support points and how you filled gaps in the dam.
  • •The goal is to make sure the dam is safe and lasts a long time.

Example

A company builds a new dam to create a lake for a town's water supply.

After finishing the dam, the company must tell the government and give them all the building details, like how strong the concrete is and where they put support points. This helps the government check if the dam is safe for the town.
