§ 462 Wastewater Reuse Studies

Key Takeaways

  • •The government studies how much wastewater we have and how good it is.
  • •They look at ways to reuse cleaned wastewater, like watering plants or cooling power plants.
  • •This helps make sure we don’t waste water and use it smartly.

Example

A town cleans its dirty water and uses it to water parks and farms.

The law says the government checks if this cleaned water is safe and useful for things like watering plants instead of wasting it.
