§ 4228 Water Right Payment Apportionment

Three farmers share a water right to water their crops. Farmer A owns half, Farmer B owns one-third, and Farmer C owns one-sixth.

The government will send a bill that splits the total cost. Farmer A pays half, Farmer B pays one-third, and Farmer C pays one-sixth. Each pays their fair share based on how much of the water right they own.
