§ 2803 Water Use Completion Proof

Key Takeaways

  • •If you get permission to use water, you have to prove you used it for something good, like growing crops.
  • •You have to show the court how much water you used and what you used it for.
  • •You have to do this before the time given to you runs out, or the court might give you more time if you ask.

Example

A farmer gets permission to use water from a river to grow vegetables.

The farmer has to tell the court how much water was used and show that it helped grow the vegetables. If the farmer doesn't do this on time, they might get in trouble or lose the right to use the water.
