§ 2500 Stream System Definition

Key Takeaways

  • •A 'stream system' means rivers, lakes, and other water bodies, including small streams that feed into them.
  • •It does not include underground water unless it's a clear, flowing stream under the ground.

Example

A small creek flows into a big river.

The creek and the river are both part of the 'stream system' because they are connected.
